Quenching Machine, designed for controlled die quenching of automotive and truck-size ring gears, as well as round, flat and cylindrical components. The machine accommodates workpieces up to 28" (711 mm) in diameter and 8" (203 mm) in height and incorporates hydraulic pressure control for the inner and outer rings and expander, adjustable cycle timers, controlled oil flow and Gleason's pulsing die-quenching process for minimizing distortion during heat treatment.
